Senior Spotlight - Anna Heck

“Make someone smile every day, but never forget that you are someone too.” This is what Anna Heck responded when asked what her favorite quote is. Anna, daughter of Jeff and Jenny Collins and the late Kyle Heck, is a senior at MVAOCOU High School this year. She has a twin sister, Emma, an older sister Jaden, two younger twin siblings, Kaia and Kael, and a pet dog named Jake. You can find her driving to school every day in her white Chevy Malibu.

While in high school, Anna’s favorite memory was her Spanish trip to Costa Rica. Her favorite teachers are both Miss Petersen and Mrs. Scholl. “They are both so genuine and dependable, I can’t imagine going through school without either of them!” Anna said.

If Anna had to give any piece of advice to underclassmen, she would say, “Take pictures, go to school events, buy the class shirt, dress up for spirit days, stand in the student section, always participate, and be undeniably yourself! It all goes by so fast, so make those memories while you can!” Anna’s future plans after high school are to attend South Dakota State University and major in Early Childhood Education. Good luck with all of your future endeavors, Anna!
