Teresa Johnson - Senior Spotlight

“It’s not how many times you get bucked off that counts, it’s how many times you saddle back up.” --Teresa Johnson

Teresa Johnson is the daughter of Doug and Stephanie Johnson. She has a younger brother, Dillon, who is in 6th grade. Teresa has a pet horse named Mellow, as well as a dog named Maggie, Kane the cat, and many other farm animals. She drives an orange metallic 2021 Chevy Trailblazer, whom she calls “Berfa.” She has always attended MVAOCOU. Teresa says that throughout high school, all of her teachers have been her favorite. “They have always been willing to help me when I need it the most.”

Teresa said that her favorite high school memory was hosting exchange students Julia Fattori, Leonardo Botta, and Ingrid Bustnes. It was a “two in a second-lifetime experience.” Not only has she created life-long friendships, Teresa considers each one of them as her siblings.

After high school, Teresa plans to attend Wayne State College. At college, her goal is to get a criminal justice degree. She plans to join the air national guard. Her end goal in life is to be a part of the FBI. “Work hard, play hard,” as her parents say.  Best of luck to you, Teresa!
